Megalith

Megalith

It’s a solar clock driven installation, designed for Boom Festival, that starts at sunset and ends at sunrise, with generative geometry controlling 6 robotic beams, standing on top of 6 neo-megalithic structures made by atelier Rethorica with bio construction techniques.

Every hour, and every half hour, the interactive mode activates for 10 minutes, and the boomers can control the lights with their bodies.

During the first half hour the installation is focused on Earth light patterns, projected on the ground. During the second half hour, the focus is the night sky, using lines to draw Sacred Geometry in the starred canvas.

instalação audiovisual interactiva

Documentação de instalação patente na sala de exposições do CCC das Caldas da Rainha. Um sistema audiovisual generativo, que reage à presença do público, permitindo uma modulação do conteúdo artístico em tempo real.

Uma zona de interacção é definida, para um utilizador de cada vez experimentar a modulação desta realidade temporária, que se desenvolve generativamente, a partir de um conjunto de composições musicais e visuais pré-estabelecidas pelo autor.

Esta instalação esteve patente no Centro Cultural e de Congressos
das Caldas da Rainha entre 17 e 25 de Maio de 2018, resultado
de uma residência artística de Rui Gato na mesma instituição.

A rotação das formas geométricas geram a música,
e os visitantes interagem usando as mãos,
alterando as formas e consequentemente, a música.
